I absolutely enjoyed hiking the trails of this place. We went for a short hike of 3 hrs. As we entered the national park there was a spacious paid car parking, where we parked our car. From there we went to the visitors centre and had a …
Such stunning scenery. One of the top hiking destinations. There would be a variety of flowers in bloom depending on the season. Visited throughout the winter.
Amazing place to have on your doorstep. The views are amazing and there was absolutely no litter. The water was a little cold in February.
Amazing scenery, but be ready for the weather changes: it changes so quickly and so often. We had sun, light rain, heavy shower back to sun, then a shower, sun, extremely heavy rain all within one hour. The pink walk alongside the main …
One of my favourite places in Ireland. The scenery and history spark something in visitors. Ideally visit early on a weekday for the quietest experience. All nearby car parks have a charge. The Upper Car Park will bring you right to the …
Great park to trek around and find beautiful scenery. The Upper Lake has a lovely little beach, mostly occupied by ducks, and it is easy to walk to the waterfall nearby. Bring hiking shoes or sturdy boots sneakers or boots.

Stunning place especially if you try to avoid the busiest tourist zones. Use the Wicklow Way to walk into the valley and lakes from above Laragh if you have the time. There are trails on Komoot

Beautiful place to explore and stroll through. The ground is a former monastery and and active cemetery/burial place. There are several ruin structures (towers, churches) that are being preserved. Nearby, a couple of beautiful lakes with gorgeous views and a walking trail.
